First, let me just say that there are not too many Christian musical artists out there that really impress me. I guess that the main reason is that the lyrics are usually very shallow, spiritually speaking. I mean, I appreciate that they are singing about Jesus Christ, but the depth or revelation and relationship with Him is usually ankle deep. It leaves me wanting so much more about 95% of the time. But not so here!

Charlie definitely has a gift in music, but it goes much deeper than that. He has a deep revelation of His Lord! And it doesn't stop there. He also has a very insightful viewpoint of the Church as well. I honestly cannot say this about most contemporary Christian artists today.

By listening to this cd you get the clear sense that this man really knows Him and wants to know Him in a deeper way every day. The first song of the album sums it up the best:
